11 Jan We Are Offering Free Gardening Classes
Taking Roots has sponsored a 12-week garden course for kids ages 4- 10 at Alliance Community Fellowship. You can read all about the sign up details here.
We are partnering with At&M College with their Junior Master Gardener Program. Their curricula engage children in novel, “hands-on” group and individual learning experiences that promote a love of gardening, develop an appreciation for the environment, and cultivate the mind. At the end of the 12-week program, kids will be celebrated and given a certificate plus their very own garden bag.
We are excited to be offering this course and cannot wait to see you there starting January 16th! Even if you cannot make it to all of them, I encourage you to bring your kids on those days that you can make it. I assure each lesson is all about planting seeds in their precious hearts.
